Default shocking truth about the crackdown on Occupy

What a load of turds if i ever saw one. Guess they call this bs Journalism in the uk to( i have seen a bit of leftest propaganda like it here in the Msm in the Us).

.................................................. ........................................

A story told a person who is basicly a unarmed overtaxed subject in a kingdom i bet & if in london(and else where) under the ever watchfull eye of big brother & the UK police state.

Its for there own good right- i mean unarmed- whos going to look out for them- but the goverment who disarmed them?

Quote:
On a recent trip to London, it was difficult to overlook the city’s most common landmark: closed circuit TV cameras. With nearly 2 million security cameras, London is the most watched city in the world.

Security cameras are everywhere in London: On street corners, on trains, in public spaces and in private homes. To visitors, like myself, it all seems a bit too Orwellian. However, locals have become so accustomed to the cameras that they’ve become invisible. And, that’s the point according to Jeremy Bentham, an 18th Century English philosopher and social theorist.

Bentham invented the Panopticon, a prison where the behavior of every prisoner was managed by a continuous perception of unseen surveillance. The Panopticon prison is cheaper by design than other prisons because it requires fewer guards. Since the watchmen couldn’t be seen, they don’t need not be on duty at all times. CCTV is a modern day Panopticon.

Do they tuck you in at nite in your prison?

But who thinks they know all about Americans & whats happening here in the US( US civil war?).

( those heart tugging pictures of the down trodden po protesters i bet did it- tugged on there lil socilist liberal bleeding heatstrings..

Quote:
So, when you connect the dots, properly understood, what happened this week is the first battle in a civil war; a civil war in which, for now, only one side is choosing violence. It is a battle in which members of Congress, with the collusion of the American president, sent violent, organised suppression against the people they are supposed to represent. Occupy has touched the third rail: personal congressional profits streams. Even though they are, as yet, unaware of what the implications of their movement are, those threatened by the stirrings of their dreams of reform are not.

Sadly, Americans this week have come one step closer to being true brothers and sisters of the protesters in Tahrir Square. Like them, our own national leaders, who likely see their own personal wealth under threat from transparency and reform, are now making war upon us.

Well, I'm not certain how the crackdown on protestors violating relatively simple laws, and anything being referenced in the articles trying to make a comparison even work.

Rioters wanting money they did not earn are being arrested, fined, or just being forced to move out of public areas. Many areas that were not meant to be lived in.

Not only that, they are making it so that people with actual jobs can't make a living by stopping traffic into and out of some areas. So, instead of helping their kin with jobs, they are causing more problems. The Occupy movement is a cause without leadership, and with no purpose outside of saying "GIVE ME MORE!" for doing nothing.

Really, it's a disgrace to call many of the protestors American. America was founded by people who believed in working for whatever they had. People who definately did not believe in giving things to anyone for any reason if they did not do something to earn the reward.

I do feel the same.

Maybe for the writer of the story it seems normal( and how leftest subjects in a kingdon get things done?)

Sounds more like extortion of the public- by the protesters to me.

Quote:
US citizens of all political persuasions are still reeling from images of unparallelled police brutality in a coordinated crackdown against peaceful OWS protesters in cities across the nation this past week.
Well they sure dont speak for me - i think the police should crack down more.

The writer of the story must not get around much at all in the US- to guage all(or even most) of the US poltical persuasions ideas on such matters- Another euro leftest who thinks there a expert on the US( hersay 2 hand trash rumors spread by tongue waving leftest-who dosnt know what there talking about iit seems & claims to speak for us all.

Misleading thread title! I thought you'd have a pic of some protester getting tasered.

I'm sorry, but what do the British know, and why would we care? We beat their @$$es twice and them saved them twice. And their empire is meaningless. They do have good literature and humor, though.

Besides, the Guardian is edited by commies who don't think they're commies. Forget their opinions...

Yeah, I actually do feel sorry for people like that. They're so unhappy they think they can't be any worse off. Try living in England.

England is still relatively affluent and is a 1st World nation.
Send these pukes to China. THat's where everybody is equal...a millimeter above whale turds....and they all have the same...NOTHING. See how they'd like their crap (berets, Che Guevara shirts, birkenstock sandals, backpacks crammed with survival crap, Hope and Change bumper stickers) being 'redistributed' and where you do not eat if you do not work. I'd LOVE to see 'em belly up to their own ideology !

England is a rotting, post-colonial cesspool of a country. I dare you to live there.
