The unmasking was done via a CNN article citing a Pew Research Center poll that showed that 54% of people who attended church services at least once per week agreed that using torture against suspected terrorists is often or sometimes justified. Of course, the group with the highest thirst for blood were the white Evangelical Christians, who backed torture over 60% of the time.

So much for Jesus's admonition to love they neighbor. No group in America acts in ways more contrary to Jesus's teachings than evangelicals.

LOL, you've got to be kidding. No one acts more contrary to the teachings of Christ? Not athiests? Not communists? Not Jehovah's witnesses? Not Mormons? Not American Jews (who, for the most part, are of Ashkenazi stock, who descended from the very Pharisees who again and again killed God's prophets and successfully lobbied Pilate to execute Christ)?

What really gets me is how unrepentant sinners point the finger at those who are trying to follow Christ along the path of righteousness. We're all sinners. The difference is that some make an effort to be holy and obey the will of God.

The fact is that killing and war are justified throughout the Old and New Testaments. Some people are just plain evil, and no matter how good you are to them, and how much you preach the Good News, they will continue to destroy what is good.

And frankly, I'm tired of these progressive "Christians" coming out and acting as though they know what Jesus would think. They are a product of modern politics, not authentic Christianity, and their whiney preaching has been found again and again to stand against the teaching of Christ. Even the devil will call himself a Christian if he can get true believers to turn against God.

Even the Apostles instructed slaves to obey their masters as they would the will of God. I wonder what these pointy headed liberal Christians would say about that?

You're wrong. You don't have the data to back it up. Or at least, you didn't cite the data. You merely quoted a CNN article which supposedly summarizes the data. We have no way of knowing if the CNN article has correctly summarized the data.
