I guess I do not understand why this is significant: Obama might have known one of his friends solicited the services of a prostitute? What the friend does does not mean Obama is involved.

The character of a man can be seen through those he befriends. Put this in context. Obama has a list of friends who are very questionable. Van Jones, Ayers, Wright, etc. etc.. Now a this.

The question was never whether Obama was involved.

I kind of thought that was where you were going with the post. I thought the character of president Obama was settled considering his associations with Ayers, Wright, etc. Indeed this does not elevate Obama.

It doesn't change my feeling about the President, but I hopeful that it gets a few on-the-fence voters thinking...
