Champion of AZ Immigration Law Recalled

It appears AZ senator Russell Pearce, a champion of the AZ immigration law, has lost his seat. Pearce got too cozy with with one T. J. Ready; the leader of a white supremacy group. Ready was awarded a bad conduct discharge from the USMC after being court-martialed twice.

PHOENIX (Reuters) - A powerful Republican state Senate leader who championed Arizona's controversial crackdown on illegal immigrants appeared headed for early removal from office on Tuesday in a historic recall election, returns showed.

With all precincts reporting, state Senate President Russell Pearce was trailing his chief challenger, Republican newcomer and charter school administrator Jerry Lewis, by 7 percentage points, 45.4 percent to 52.4 percent.

so they recalled a state senate republican for his ties to a white supremacist group and his support of the Az immigration law, and replaced him at the state senate level, with another republican ? Is that not a win-win ? And with Jerry Lewis in the state senate, I'll be thost c-span sessions will finally take on some comedic value...heehehhe

What is Senator-elect Lewis' position on the Arizona immigration law ? I'm wondering if his ED is heavily Latino .....
