For those of you who notice the chart is a little blurry, left click it and it will open the web-page which is much clearer. In reviewing that chart, it seems like the House wants to spend a little less than the Senate but both are still above FY2008 spending. Translation, both houses are making/proposing "small" spending cuts that are nowhere near enough to help reduce the deficit by any substantial amount.
