Of course the the Left wants it. They'd love to see the country run solely by morons from New York, imbeciles from Chicago, and idiots from California.
I would like to see an amendment that required you be a productive member of society; i.e. a tax payer, served honorably in the military, etc. before you were allowed the priveledge to vote. If you were on welfare or were otherwise a drain on society (not including retired from a productive job) you forfieted that priveledge.

The liberals want popular election of presidential candidates but not appointment of judges. Here in Michigan, judges and State Supreme Court justices are elected. The liberal weenies don'like that.
If it were'nt for the election of Supreme Court Justices, we likely would not have concealed carry here.
