Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Angry So let me see if I've got this ******* right!!!

When you join the military you take an oath to defend our constitution. If need be, your are expected to give the ultimate sacrifice, and put your life on the line to do so. You are also expected to take a random drug test at any time if that's whats asked of you.

But... If you receive free money from the government it's against your 4th amendment right to be subject to a drug test before you qualify???

This is insanity!!! This country is currently being ruled by legislation from the bench, and executive order!!!

According to the article, there are a number of issues, not the least of which is the privacy of the results, and possible criminal prosecution based on the results. Im all for drug-testing welfare recipients, but the law appears to need a bit of refinement before it can be implemented, I would think. Contrary to what one might think, it's not a 'binary' law, and by that I mean "Drug free = $$$" and "addict = NO $$$"...there appears to be possible consequences if you fail the drug test; the purpose is to qualify applicants, not prosecute, incarcerate and/or rehabilitate applicants who fail.
