Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I'm not sure why you're calling it a nob killing bill. If anything its a bill that moves us towards freedom a d more jobs. Too bad Obama has been sitting on the bills while blaming Congress for not passing them.

Open free trade with yet another country that has cheap labor and lower corporate tax rates. Did we not make this mistake with Nafta and the likes?

Cool

Whether we like it or not, it's becoming a global economy. Free trade is the way of the future.

We adjust by reducing taxes on businesses and by lowering wage expectations. I don't think it's going to continue to be possible to expect $60-$80 an hour, including benefits for a $20 an hour job.

No, NAFTA was an increase in jobs. I posted on this and the numbers not too long ago. Unless you are an unskilled and over paid laborer in America, this shouldn't worry anyone.

NAFTA screwed us. We closed two businesses because of competition moving to Mexico. We could not compete

Compete with what? EPA? taxes, labor... So many things to look at. However, NAFTA was a net job increase in America. Millions of jobs were created along with rising wages since it was passed.

Compete with companies who moved to Mexico for cheap labor. We paid a competitive wage and had a nice benefits package. Other companies packed up and went to Mexico and used cheap labor and paid none of the benefits we did. We did not want to move, so we sold while the name was hot. We made out well, but didn’t help those we employed much.

You are referring to unskilled labor.
