Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I know the media wants to portray this as some large organized populist uprising but as for myself I look with contempt at these people. I am sorry they are having difficulties finding work. I have lost jobs and know how frustrating it can be. But the answer is not protesting. It is finding work any work to pay the bills and put food on the table.

It's a moron's gambit, plain and simple. THey are there to protest...anything ! They are protesting:
1: they want obamacare repealed
2: they want universal health care
3: they want mortgage, college loan and credit card debt forgiven
4: they protest high taxes
5: they support 'tax the rich' class warfare.
6: while professing to be from the 'left', they profess a hatred for
Wall Street, the very 'symbol' that supports them
7: they want jobs, but are not willing to start at the bottom
8: they protest the despoiling of the environment, while they
wallow in their own litter, garbage and excrement

I don't get it. This is rabble. Sent them home with lumps.

Exactly!!! I was in the construction trades before the crash in 08. I went threw a period of 18 months in which I only worked 5 of them. I finally couldn't take it any more and checked into the job at the Peat Bog I had worked at back in the 90's before I went into the trades. I walked in on a Monday morning and was hired on the spot.

I still had 44 weeks of UI I could have claimed, and a 40 hour week at the bog was less than my UI benefit, but a guy has to be able to live with himself!!!

My last wage as a Tile Setter was $23.10 pr hr, I now earn $9.50 pr hr. I'm hardly a right wing fat cat, but I frikken get it. If I should happen to pass on today I'll do so with a good conscious.

I can go on the MN Work Force site today and find several jobs that I qualify for!!! It's not swallowing my pride to take them, it's preserving it!!!

It's just idiotic. The other question I ask, is this; NYC requires a permit for such gatherings. I cannot imagine that a NYC permit to assemble in this fashion includes
impeding traffic, both pedestrian and vehicular, public urination, defecation and fornication... WTF is the enforcement of local ordinance here ? Is this allowed just because the cops are outnumbered and the tv cameras are 'watching' ?

Glad I do not live in NYC anymore. If I did I would be getting pretty upset that I as a taxpayer was not able to use the park I paid for because it was over run by freeloaders.
