That may be it. I don't think women think as objectively as men when it comes to politics.

For example, 56% of women voted for Obama opposed to 49% of men. That's 8,000,000 more women voting for Obama.

I think women are more likely to be liberal than men and the hope and change promise resonated with women's emotions.

You may be on to something. Many...many years ago when I was a teen in high school I used that flaw to further my quest at "dating" all the available females in the school. Alas....as hard as I tried there were just too many

It seems to me women generally make emotion based judgments more than men. Not a character flaw but a characteristic. And one that can be take advantage of. But does that mean women should not vote?
