Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Chris Christy

It is being reported that after poking around 'under the radar', Chris Christie may be reconsidering his participation in the republican presidential primary.....

http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/Chri...9/23/id/412133

His time may have come and gone.....and while he's my governor, I don't know much about him...and apparently, neither does "OnTheIssues.com"....

Seems kind of 'sanitary' so late in the game...what's his drawing card ?

Christie has wide appeal among the anti-gun liberals of NJ. It's called the Christine Todd Whitman effect.

I don't know much about Chris Christie, but I really like watching him on TV; especially when people ask him stupid questions. He's a true straight talker. Check out these responses:

And this is my favorite:

I hope he doesn't. He's no conservative.

FM, what has he done to make you say that? I'm sure I could search for the answers myself, but I'd like to hear what you have to say if you know a few things off the top of your head.

He's refused to challenge Obamacare. Also, from what I understand his choice in judges has been less than par.

Well, this is my point exactly. Do we want to prop up a left-of-center republican ?
I think not ! The link I cited, ontheissues.org, provided no great insight any I have
nothing to go on for my bellwether issue, gun-control. Certainly Christy has done nothing to attack gun-control in this state, but then again, there are so many problems here, that may just not be on his agenda. In either case, I'm getting the impression of a loud-mouthed moderate at best....

He's no liberal. He cut education funding to poorer areas in NJ. Wasn't gonna fix anything. Killed him in the polls. Probably be a one term gov which is why he's looking for something else.

As adamant as he has been about not running, and like a few have said (don't know much about him), I kind od think he "may" have a skeleton or two in the closet. Just a hunch.

On the radio today, one of the talking heads mentioned 'that suicide hotline thing' but did not elucidate...dont care much about that....I'm curious how he'd perform. But then again, he's not a democrat, and he's surely not ol' crapbag Obama so I'd vote for him if he got the nomination...
