Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Here is my rebuttal from Forbes:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveden...le-in-the-usa/

Why America could not built a Kindle in the US EVEN IF IT WANTED TO.

Quote:
The U.S. has lost or is on the verge of losing its ability to develop and manufacture a slew of high-tech products. Amazon’s Kindle 2 couldn’t be made in the U.S., even if Amazon wanted to:

* The flex circuit connectors are made in China because the US supplier base migrated to Asia.
* The electrophoretic display is made in Taiwan because the expertise developed from producing flat-panel LCDs migrated to Asia with semiconductor manufacturing.
* The highly polished injection-molded case is made in China because the U.S. supplier base eroded as the manufacture of toys, consumer electronics and computers migrated to China.
* The wireless card is made in South Korea because that country became a center for making mobile phone components and handsets.
* The controller board is made in China because U.S. companies long ago transferred manufacture of printed circuit boards to Asia.
* The Lithium polymer battery is made in China because battery development and manufacturing migrated to China along with the development and manufacture of consumer electronics and notebook computers.
Quote:
So the decline of manufacturing in a region sets off a chain reaction. Once manufacturing is outsourced, process-engineering expertise can’t be maintained, since it depends on daily interactions with manufacturing. Without process-engineering capabilities, companies find it increasingly difficult to conduct advanced research on next-generation process technologies. Without the ability to develop such new processes, they find they can no longer develop new products. In the long term, then, an economy that lacks an infrastructure for advanced process engineering and manufacturing will lose its ability to innovate.
Basically it comes down this. American companies are slitting their own throats and the throats of all Americans when they export jobs overseas.

hey dipsxxx, why take a great article and use it to put forth some bullcrap that is a total lie.Are you that dense you can't figure out why we have this problem. I guess I can't blame you as it took Forbes 30 years to figure it out..HAHAHAH. Tell it to the kids and we can get some more "change"

Well I guess it sucks to be you HD. Your job is being outsourced.

Fyi, once again, we ate an engineering power house. Our problem is coming from our poor education system here in America. While our counter parts believe in education of the sciences. We believe in making sure our kids feel good about themselves and how to put a condom on for gay sex.

Now to close the loop for you. Corporations outsource manufacturing and engineering. Result:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/17/op...s-its-war.html

Highest poverty rate among working age adults since Lyndon Johnson declared a war on poverty in 1964. A poverty rate that is ESCALATING with each passing year and mirrors America's loss of technological leadership which she is passing to Asia.

Secondary result:

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/...7KD22Y20110918

The newly powerful China (thanks to our corporations gracious transfer of technology) is now ready to let slip the dogs of war on Taiwan.

The accountants got their short term profits at the slight inconvenience of long term solvency (both for themselves and America).

ding ding ding, we have a winner. When you reward poverty, you get more of it. We pay people not to work. Not to strive for better. Not to worry about tomorrow because the left will always take from some else and give it to you!

You vote for this crap and then blame someone else. Too funny.
