Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default So glad Obama fully backed this peaceful Arab Spring

Israel is in real trouble here and I just hope they can hold out until we get a qualified person back into the White House instead of our poster child for affirmative action.

Maybe not be so excited supporting terrorist over a close ally. Funny how he jumped on the bandwagon so quickly in both Egypt and Libya, yet was silent on Seria and even outspoken not to intervene in anyway when it came to Iran. Which by the way is behind killing our troops and stirring up all this mess.

What do I expect an American president to do? For starters, announce a new round of missiles being delivered to Israel. Deploying a carrier group ready to assist in the legitimate embargo of the gaza strip should Israel need our assistance.

What do you prefer? Surrender?

You mean surrender like Reagan did in Lebanon? I believe israel will take care of it themselves in about 6 days and rest on the 7th. And if you want to move carrier groups around, and enforce embargos, then remove the Bush tax cuts then you can pay for it.

+1

When the US abandoned Lebanon it sent a message to the Islamic crazies that the US did not care about the region.

Folks in several mid east dictatorships grew tired of their situation and revolted. US support for Mubarak would have made no difference. His time had come.

Excuse me, Reagan wasn't the one who surrendered in Lebanon. It was congress who pulled the rug out from under our ally and gave them to Syria.

So, you gave us your answer, surrender the middle east to terrorist. Once again abandon our allies and show them our yellow side once again.

Thanks, not sure what it has to do with this thread though. Since you brought it up, I volunteered specifically to ensure the bow hunting contest goes on. I couldn't stand the thought of no contest this year. It's a big plus for this site and hunting overall.

Once more Fieldmouse re-writes history:

BTW: Congress never cut off funding for the Lebanon excursion. The senate at the time had a Republican majority 55-45.
