Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Just as long as they don't come to my town, I don't get a long too good with yankees. Most of them are too Liberal or tree huggers, Ive had several back in the day make my fist swell!

Not very Christian of you guys... Actually, in my whole life, there were only 2 times that I was discriminated against, because of my ethnicity (olive-skinned Siclian Yankee redneck, to be specific)...both south of the Mason/Dixon; .once in Georgia where I was denied service in a restaurant, and once in a S.Carolina hunting camp I was referred to as a "Yankee Mother F***ker". In the first instance, I left and spent my money elsewhere after tearing the maitre d' a 'new one', and in the second instance, I took credit for being the crackka's father. I do not object to extending Christian charity to those in need and never pass up an opportunity to convert an ignorant lib into a human effing being.

Helping people in a pinch to get through something like is one thing. Short term, and I mean only short term, assistance is nothing to be ashamed to give.

Helping people who were in the Katrina mess perpetrated and made worse by the elected leaders is something else. You should reap the rewards of your efforts after all.

More importantly, I'm waiting to see if people who stay behind go on a looting spree.

I have to admit it, there are some places in the South, that it takes the whole town put together to reach 65 I.Q,

Oh I dunno.....the folks in the Piggly Wiggly in Greenville S.C. were nice enough even if they were not rocket scientists...even if they did detect a whole boatload of "MY Cousin Vinnie" in my accent at the checkout...

What part of Georgia? Ive lived here all my life and have never seen or even heard of such a thing. We have more yankees in Atlanta than NYC does. As for the race issue that went out down here when moby dick was a minnow.
