Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Union workers, nothing is beneath them!

If you choose to strike, strike. But don't break the law by damaging property and interfering with another person working. You chose not to do your job. Also, the persons doing your job have a choice to work of loose theirs.

Look how low this man goes to get his point across. Warning, foul language.

During my 34 years with that same company I went through 5 or 6 strikes on both sides of the picket line. I started in 1968 and after about a month in we went out on strike for a whole summer. I wasn't even in the union at that time but enjoyed a summer off and since I didn't have much for living expenses it didn't really bother me. After getting married and having a home and children the other strikes did make an impact. Thankfully none were long and the bitterness didn't really set in. After going into management I got to see the other side and in 1989 the union struck for 110 days over health care costs and employee contributions. The Union ended up winning after 110 days the company gave in and settled and I believe even today the employees don't pay anything for their vision, dental and medical insurance. I saw the sabotage first hand and can say that in most cases it was unnecessary. Putting the public out of service didn’t do anything to force the company to negotiate. The hard core stuff really only happened in the big cities and I personally never had any issues either as a picketer or crossing the line as a manager. That foul mouthed person on tape will certainly be sorry he illegally interfered with a company truck. There is no forgiveness after the fact and people caught doing something illegal will pay the consequences in the end. The managers doing the job is a requirement of employment and they can hardly be called scabs.

Even though two of the CEO’S I work with refuse to build in Union States, one still wants to build a few more theaters in the Philly area, which means I have to contend working with Union Labor. I hate it with a passion, they are cry baby’s, slow, complain, and the job never comes in on time and within budget. I worked with one union steward in Chicago that I actually called the police and had him put in jail for threating to make my fist swell! Seriously I thought, I was going to have to rearrange his body structure.

I beg to differ.

I worked my whole life in Vt and people up here usually work pretty hard and aren't for the most part slackers. While working as a manager I saw some of the world's best workers and also a few of the worst. Unfortunately the union mentality dictated that they were all treated and paid the same.

Thumbs down

The behavior on that video is truly disgusting. I can't imagine someone using his child that way.

I'm sure all union members are not like that though.

I'm curious... Are those folks smart enough to get out of the way if the driver decides to put it in gear and start moving forward? I'm not suggesting just hitting the gas and running people down, but, say under 5 mph.... How committed are they?

I'm not the lawyer in the family, but I'll bet that would be some kind of assault or something. Besides, you wouldn't do that with a kid standing in front of you.

Why do you think that testosterone deficient creep has his little girl standing there instead of standing there himself?

There was a report a few days ago where the worker didn't get out of the way. Didn't pay too much attention to it. I just know it happened. I think in PA.
