Republicans not only keep 4 out of 6 of their seats in the recall elections, but next week 2 dems. face their recall. Should the unions continue to flush their members dues down the toilet before next week, or just throw in the towel? The money spent on these recall elections alone have to be a boost to the Wisconsin economy.

These races were not even close. The district 18 vote was the closest race, and that race would have made 5 out of 6 with just a few more votes.

Congrats to the silent majority in Wisconsin.

Looks like the union cry-babies didn't get their way. I wonder how things will go in the 2012 Wiscosin state elections? An increased dominance of Republicans? I don't believe the majority of Wisconsinites buy the heap of ordure that the union nazis were selling to them last spring when they threw tantrum in Madison. I don't believe the majority of Wisconsinites think that it is proper behavior for their representatives to scurry off to Illinois to hide. Power to the people!

I'm thinking Wisconsin may be the 2012 crystal ball.

I like that the people of Wisconsin have weighed in on the crock of crap the unions fussed over all these many months. I would like to see the 2 republican losses be offset by republican GAINS in the democrat recall elections.

And for the record, they can throw ALL their money into the toilet, and all the money those commie union scumbags send from all over the country down the toilet too. They can consider it as Wisconsin's stimulus money....hHAHAHAHAHA... So, ONCE AGAIN, the people of Wisconsin have spoken, and so far, quite decisively too ! Congratulations to them !

Prior to the election there were 6 repubs, now there are only 4...how is that a victory for republicans?

Weren't all of these races in rural conservative districts on top of that?

If repubs take 2 dem seats next week I guess that would be a stalemate at best...going from 6 to 4 back to 6.

I think the point is that the Republicans still have a substantial majority.

You think these recall elections were worth the millions spent by the goonions whose goal was to take back control of the state senate, which they of course didn't?

You would have thought the rabid feces throwers in Madison represented the whole state by watching their zeal for lawlessness. It's pretty obvious now they don't represent the majority.

What's funny is that they are still blaming it on the Koch brothers.

Sorry, Sal. Only two of the districts were "rural". The rest were bastions of liberalism, errr, population centers.

Course, a little research on your part "could" have saved you some more embarrassment.
