Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Entitlement reform is key

Look at everything posted by outside sources. Taxes aren't the issue but entitlement reform must happen in order for our country to survive going forward.

Agree.

One such reform could be with Medicaid. Why not have able bodied individuals work off the services they receive in a task appropriate for their age/physical condition?

Medicaid just needs to revert back to this fictitious poverty level instead of the level of 4X of poverty.

I say let's eradicate the middle class entirely.

We'll give workers no pensions, no welfare, no medical care.

If you're not born into the upper class you'll work and die you're entire life in the lower class.

If you get sick, you die. Talk about the savings there alone!

Cancel SS entirely, I mean if you didn't save up enough to retire at 65, keep working!
We'll pay everyone min wage, and hopefully we can reduce what min.wage already is, it's too high I tell ya!

We'll only tax the lower class/poor, I mean after all, if you earn all your money sitting by the pool, why should we tax rich people who don't have to work for a living right? We should only be taxing the poor who have to work for a living and live paycheck to paycheck.

Too funny, if you actually put in an honest days work, I would be surprised.

Why can't you actually put up any facts regarding your myth of the middle class? I have posted many times showing the middle class moving up. So put up or shut.

Do you even have an idea what our founding document meant when it said, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? What part of that says, you have money that I'm entitled to sal?

What you want is a freebie. Screw the facts. You deserve what someone else earned and wish to hide behind uncle Sam to get it.

Well you do know that humans have lived much longer on this earth without handouts than they have with them. It seems to me when the handouts started that it didn't take long to get them hooked like crackheads. Now they don't know what to do or how to survive without them.

Ever hear about the bears of Yellowstone. They started taking handouts from tourist instead of hunting. Pretty soon they forgot how to hunt. Many would die because they couldn't take care of themselves. They killed the other bears and stopped the handouts.

People are just like an animal. They will take handouts every time. No one will take a harder road when an easier one looks so much better is given. Is they easier road always the best thing?

But it's much easier for Sal to hide behind the guns of uncle Sam while he reaches into his neighbor's pocket for his wallet.

FM, do you have any links to this? Not saying you don't. Just curious to learn more as this sounds like something else that should be reformed.

Here you go. I remember back when they were discussing Obamacare and this possibility came up then. There were more articles written about this.
