Cult Leader Found Guilty of Child Rape

Warren Jeffs, the so called "Prophet" of the FLDS has been found guilty of child rape by a TX court. Seems like Jeffs "married" 12 year old and a 14 year old girls. Law enforcement found tapes of Jeffs having sex with at least one child. Several other FLDS men have also been charged with child rape.

It came about with the raid on the FLDS compound in TX some time back. TX authorities noticed quite a few young girls were pregnant. Jeffs nephew testified at the penalty hearing that Jeffs raped him when he was five years old.

How in hades can any father or mother allow a scumbag like Jeffs to have sex with their young daughter?

Yes, I remember that discussion. Some people were vehemently claiming that the parents' rights were being violated by the Gestapo-like tactics of the authorities. And my husband was arguing the we have a duty to protect these kids from their abusers.

Several of the men have gone to prison and the head honcho is finally on his way there. My husband, of course, was absolutely right.

The parents of those children should be arrested and charged, they are just as guilty as the rapist.
The state needs to investigate their little cult further.
