Unless there's more to these studies than written in these articles, it would appear that the studies don't account for any other factors in the suicide rates, such as depression, a bad economy, lack of jobs, wars, etc. It would also seem a little suspect that such studies ascribe young peoples' suicides to politics when young people typically don't pay any attention to politics.
