Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default I'd love to know.....

What cartridges these rifles are chambered for ? At any rate, I thought it was kind'a funny, from a purely sadistic point of view....

577 T-rex. Has damn near the same free recoil as a 50BMG.

Good grief ! I don't know that I'd pull the trigger on one of those 'shells' UNLESS I was in immediate danger of being torn to shreds and trampled into the veldt ! I did, however, laugh unabashedly as the hapless 'crash test dummies' were enjoying the effects of uber-recoil.

It's a great laugh if you can watch it in slow motion and see just how far their shoulders move when they dang near get ripped off.

Idiots. Discharging a firearm, any firearm that you cannot keep under your complete control at all times is how people get hurt or killed. If someone had bothered to show these guys how to lean in to the rifle they would not be on the Internet getting laughed at...well not so much anyway.

The cartridge box states that the user must wear suspenders to carry.

I will admit that the clip actually does show some guys don't even hold the rifle correctly. And NONE of them have the rifle in anything remotely resembling control once they've touched off a round. I cannot conceive of the sort of recoil depicted here...I am not recoil sensitive, and I know how to physically compensate for a rifle's recoil so I'd wonder how different this clip would be, if the subjects were guys who are experienced shooters, but more, experienced in very heavy recoiling rifles/cartridges ? Might not be so funny then, I suppose.....

The people filming this obviously know the rifle has tremendous recoil. Either they did not bother to provide training in handling heavy recoil or they do not know themselves. So by knocking the cr@p out of guys and laughing like fools what they are doing is creating a fear of guns. "Oohh, guns hurt, guns loud...must make them illegal." You see the same thing when guys film their girlfriends firing weapons they are obviously scared of. All that does is create people who are afraid of weapons. And the next time gun control comes up what side of the issue do you think these scared people will be on?

Oddly enough I taught my dad how to shoot a pistol. He wanted to start with a Glock. Why? Because that was all he knew. Instead I started him off with my Ruger 22/45 and he loves it. His perception of firearms is different now. Now he enjoys shooting rather than fearing it.

It looks like the rifle and the cameras are taking as much of a beating as the shooters.

In this version the last shooter takes the rest to school, you can see it in his posture before he shoots.

My husband started me out with a .22 rifle and a .22 pistol. I enjoy shooting my .50 caliber replica Hawken muzzleloader as well as his relic 8mm. Mausers. They're heavy enough to absorb the recoil. He got me a 20ga. Mossberg for turkeys but we had to miss the season this year because of his back.

I think the worst mistake people make when introducing kids or girls to guns is to give them a light, large caliber gun. The recoil puts them off for sure. I don't agree with the practice of providing light guns for women and kids. It just makes for more recoil.
