Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default When putting in elected chronies fails....

Get them to allow direct appointments to your cause. What a great idea. California, I can see you are on a path of recovery.

Sooooooo, Isn't California overdue for a MAAAAAAAJOR earthquake?

There really isn't a way to describe the level of pure stupidity that comes out of California but this has got to be in the top ten at least.

I will revel in their difficulties. Until such time as they are made to feel the pain of their own stupidity, this sort of garbage will persist. One can only hope....

Governor Walker did the same thing here. The difference is, he took campaign donations for cabinet seats.

The issue isn't party related, because each side is equally guilty at times, but how the system is broken in some areas.

So your negotiation tables are now made up of preselected union stoogies?

That's a sure-fire method of screwing 'The People'. There is a parallel...the NMFS, the regulatory body that sets bag and size limits for saltwater anglers, at least on the Atlantic coast. It's made up unanimously of commercial fishermen who are given ridiculous by-catch allowances, limits, literally anything to foster and propagate greater profits from the catching and sale of wild saltwater fish. The People, in this case, sport and hook and line fishermen, are now saddled with licensing fees, very restrictive bag and size limits designed to maximize commerical interests and minimize hook and line catches, increased fines for 'poaching' or non-compliance...there's a lotta guys who dont fish on the salt water anymore as a direct result. So watch your wallet (more appropriately, your TAX BILL) when unions start appointing people who have the power to decide that which normally is decided by people who answer to the popular vote. I say, good for Kalifornia...and here's to their promptly taking those moronic schmucks to the cleaners for every cent they have...it's welll-deserved. This one's for you, Kalifornia....
