Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Be careful how you choose to protest.

Back in 93 a buddy of mine and I were out riding all day without our helmets on. We were both riding Kawasaki ZL900 Eliminators. I did have my helmet with me, and as the sun was going down my sun glasses were becoming useless and I needed eye protection so I put my helmet on. Not 10 minutes later I crashed on a corner. It was early April, and there was still plenty of sand on the roads from the past Winter.

I've kept that helmet all these years too remind me of the foolishness of my youth, as well as a reminder of just how quickly life can change. Here's a pic of the back of the helmet.

The scratches may not look that bad on the helmet, but I figure if I hadn't been wearing it my brains would probably look like this.

It's been buried on a shelf in the garage since 1997 with the back facing out, I didn't notice that the mice have had their way with it, but they did help me make my point.

Note that the face shield is also torn off.
