Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Federal gun laws are racist???

They are according to this babbling idiot. I guess I should expect no less from a guy that moved from New York City to Chicago.

And talk about lying threw omission. He throws the #'s around insinuating that all the murders were committed with guns, and doesn't break down the %'s of race, or gender of the victims.

It's a pretty incredible claim. He makes a lot of unfounded claims all right. Too bad reality will never see the day of light as long as he is in charge.

For these guys, EVERYTHING is evidence of racism.

It would seem as though the opposite is true, the superintendent should do his homework.

In his 1995 Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy article, “The Racist Roots of Gun Control,” Second Amendment scholar Clayton E. Cramer outlines the historical case that “racism underlies gun control laws.” Cramer notes that racist gun control in America stretches as far back as 1751 with a French law in the Louisiana territory that required colonists to “‘f necessary,’ beat ‘any black carrying any potential weapon, such as a cane.’”
Though Superintendent McCarthy might be excused for not looking that far back, he should certainly be aware of last year’s U.S. Supreme Court opinion in the case of McDonald v. Chicago. In a concurring opinion in that case, Justice Clarence Thomas explained that in the years preceding the Civil War, “Many legislatures amended their laws prohibiting slaves from carrying firearms to apply the prohibition to free blacks as well.” After the Civil War, little improved. Justice Thomas writes: “Some States formally prohibited blacks from possessing firearms… Others enacted legislation prohibiting blacks from carrying firearms without a license, a restriction not imposed on whites.”
Other Reconstruction Era (and later) laws were less candid. For example, an 1870 Tennessee law barred the sale of all but the most expensive pistols, effectively disarming newly freed blacks and the poor. New York’s Sullivan Law of 1911, requiring a permit for handgun possession, was largely targeted at Italians and other disfavored immigrant groups. (That law is still on the books.) And the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was denied a concealed carry permit in Alabama under a similar discretionary permitting law—even after his house had been bombed.
We suggest that in the future, Superintendent McCarthy might do a little more research before conflating respect for a fundamental individual right with its antithesis, government-sponsored racism.

What's worse than the idiot with the microphone are the idiots in the congregation "amening" him, swallowing every race-baiting word he says without critical thinking or, AT LEAST, common sense. Fack-tards like him wouldn't get anywhere if people weren't so damned gullible. How is it that people cannot see through this piece of garbage?

Don't forget Condolezza Rice's witnessing that her father, in the rural South in the early 1960s, had his shotgun at the ready to protect his house during times of racial unrest. Ooops! I'm sorry! I forgot, any minority experiences -- black, woman -- that do not support the liberal narrative are verbotten!!!

I never get why minorities climb on the band wagon of gun control, why Democrats -- who porportedly represent the minorities -- support gun control. Isn't it the poorest, most disadvantaged who are the last to receive police protection? Which neighborhood is most likely to be well protected by police, an affluent neighborhood or a poverty stricken minority neighborhood? Which neighborhood is likely to have the most violent crime? Who can least afford high tech security systems and other material means to keep out criminals? Seems to me an inexpensive pistol or shotgun and a person behind the door who knows how to use these weapons is the best protection these people are going to have.

Libs are racists. That's a fact of life. Part of ACTING on that racism, is the push for gun control and the limitations of personal freedoms and civil rights (except, of course, the ones that LIBS feel are appropriate for their subjects to exercise....).

And that's where the problem lies...you can BE a racist in this world....but you must not ACT on your racist tendencies.
Libs not only act on them, they feel righteous and justified in doing so. This is what makes them lower than plant life.

I’m sorry I couldn’t take watching all of that video, if I would have been in that church I would have walked out the first two minutes into his babbling. I don’t know who I couldn’t stand the most; he or the bozos in the pews!

All I can say is, any pack-o-sphincters who can elect ol' Dead Fish Rahmbo, deserves a horse's azz like that clown as their cheef-a-p'leese.

Good riddance and have at it.I have no problems with pukes of a feather, skunking together.

I agree, all those clowns belong together.
Soon Barry will be in the mist of those clowns too, when he's out of a job.
