Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Setting us up???

I've wondered since I first heard about the operation "Fast and Furious" what it's real purpose was.

But does it really end there? So much doesn't add up.
This whole operation stinks. Who knows this may end-up being some extra-congressional way of getting another assault weapons ban put in place, it would not surprise me.

There are real questions that must be answered about who knew about this, and when. An American lies murdered for what may be political aims. He has a right to justice — as high up as it goes.
This kind of sums it all up. It's a good article.

The article posits that the actions of BATFE in this matter may be politically motivated by the Justice Department at best. AS HIGH UP AS IT GOES seems to be pointing to the "Prince of Fools" himself, and as rep Issa points out, it's "Felony Stupid". It would be a Godsend to be able to bring this house of cards down because of an American law enforcement officer murdered by guns involved in a government subterfuge designed by thugs to further rob Americans of their gun rights. Who pays the price for Brian Terry's murder ? Is this not, at the very least, criminal negligence ? Conspiracy to traffic in illegal small arms ? Somthing ? Is this a high crime ? Where's the effin' outrage ???

The story is building momentum. I agree it ought to be and should have been on the front page until we got answers, that would have been the case if the president was a republican. For now though it will have to build while rep Issa puts together his case.

As for outrage, I believe there is both outrage and disgust out there. As for myself I feel like whats-his-name in Shawshank Redemption, swimming through sh17 until November 2012.

Hopefully, we can tread sh17 until then without too much time sucking it down our throats....

Two US LEOs were murdered with guns that the ATF ordered peddled into Mexico: One was killed in Mexico. The BATFE was trying to prove that many, if not most, of the guns used by Mexican criminals are coming from the USA. That one does not pass the common sense test: No Mexican drug lord would pay $600-800 apiece for a few semi auto AK-47 derivatives smuggled from the US when he can buy a shipping container full of real rock and roll AK-47 for $250 apiece from the Chinese gov't. or an international arms merchant.

The "Fast and Furious" thing had the blessing of someone high in the US justice dep't and/or Obama or Biden. It was done in an attempt to generate political pressure for another useless "assault weapons ban".

Actually I am kind of liking this. A whole generation is getting a real good, in your face look at the effects of liberal policies. Methinks people are not liking what they are seeing and experiencing. Just as Obama was "gun salesman of the year" I think the republicans should thank Obama for being their number 1 recruitment person.

some might see it that way. The vast majority of the youth of this country has beeen propagandized into believing in Marxism and Socialist values are akin to 'being American'.
They 'believe' without the slightest inkling of the contents of the constitution or bill of rights that people possess rights which are not enumerated in our laws. I place no faith in the youth of this country...at least in the ersatz 'educated' youth. Theyve been educated into complete ignorance. So I place no great faith in their 'epiphany' regarding 'Da Turd' and his posse of neophyte advisors....
