Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Cool Conservatives Beware!

The independents and the liberals have focused on Rumdum as the least Republican of the potential Republican candidates.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011...lead-for-2012/

We've already committed ourselves to vote for the Republican candidate no matter who it is. But we would really like to see a genuine, reliable conservative get the nomination.

Oh well, it's early yet.

It is early. Notwithstanding, confronted with the choice between Romney and Obama, I'm pulling the lever for Romney. As I have said many times (with reference to any Republican presidential candidate rather than any specific instance), at least I would expect Romney to appoint supreme court justices that were not liberal, revisionist legal kooks.

Agree with all of the above. I have a lot of concerns about Romney. But if push came to shove I would not hesitate to vote for Romney.

Its way too early to put any eggs in Mitt's basket just yet. We still have to winow out the chaff. With Bochman, Pawlenty, Cain, Paul, Gingrich, and potentially more to announce, still in the running. We will need to see who shakes out.

First out I think will be Gingrich, he has too many skeletons in his closet. Next could be Cain or Pawlenty, neither really has the name recognition. Mitt, will likely be the last to drop out, if he doesn't make it through the primaries. Bachman, I think will also be soon to fall out. There just aren't that many people who would want a woman as Pres., I think she might have about the same chances that Hillary did, very little.

And this is an example of how the media helps get exactly who they want on the ballot. In a poll the article tells us nothing about, out of an unknown number who said they were likely to vote in the primary, within a whopping 1,000 people polled, when only 2 of 15 primary debates have been completed, Romney Solidifies GOP Lead. What an effing joke. The problem with this is that most people don’t THINK. They aren’t gonna dig around to find the details of the poll, and they ARE going to be influenced by the headline and already start to think, “Romney’s our guy.”

Absolutely. The media is attempting to pick the Republican candidate. We'll have to see if it works. I have my doubts.

7.62 is in the x-ring on this one. They're trying to pull a 'McCain' once again by setting up Romney as the 'least offensive' republican candidate. In reality, there's no consensus on Romney; I think he stinks as another closet moderate/lib. That would leave another stench in the room but as the wise and lovely Sachiko has pointed out, he ain't Obama so with my last gasp of consciousness, holding my breath and wiping tears of disappointment from my eyes, I will pull the lever for Romney to remove that pestilence from the White House.

Sachiko who would that be? Of the declared candidates, I think Bachmann fits that description the closest. (I may be wrong, not familiar with most of them)

By the time the primaries come along, we (my husband and I) should have enough information to decide on a vote.

Bachman's website isn't up yet, so we don't know where she stands on many issues.
