Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Next labor union battle?

With Wisconsin's law regarding limiting collective bargaining of public sector employees in benefits matters and with Ohio's law limiting collective bargaining rights of public sector employees . . . what is the next labor union battle? Certainly other states have problems with "platinum club member" state employee compensation and benefits programs. What state is going to be next to address this problem? What other battles need to be settled with union thugs? Any word on how the challenge of the Washington state aerospace labor union folks against the building of a new facility by Boeing in the SE is progressing? My vague recollection was that the Department of Justice stepped in as a strongly tendentious advocate of the labor position in this issue and somehow dissuaded Boeing from proceeding with building this plant. Since it is a pretty big deal, I would think Boeing would work this through the court system and fight the high handed interference of the Department of Justice. What is cooking in this kitchen of labor union stews right now?

The Boeing plant is built. They will be beginning work there this summer as scheduled building the new dreamliner. The unions can complain all they like but they don't stand a prayers chance to blocking the opening this summer.
