Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Wisconsin Republicans do it again !

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011...ncealed-carry/

How they implement will determine if this is a law with teeth or just
another load of applesauce. I wonder if it will be a 'shall issue' state or enter into the corruption and nepotism of say, NY State's gun laws ?

I can say one thing about Illinois, they may be off on a lot of things but when it comes to taking care of patients I’m overwhelmed. I got into a pretty serious car crash eight days ago (I was a passenger in the front seat) and was in the hospital in Bloomington-Normal for four days. All I can say is incredible, I’ve never been treated that good anywhere in my life.

I've been busy as of late (which is a good thing) so I've been doing some digging.

I'm happy to here this, it's been expected.

My greatest concern now is that it reciprocates with MN's permit.

I buy most of my reloading components from Superior Shooters Supply. They're one of the best suppliers in my region.

As it is now I have to stop in Duluth, unload my carry piece, and lock it up before I enter Superior.

One day I forgot all about it. So there I was in Wisconsin unintentionally committing a felony.

Yup, I know, it was entirely my fault. But when you've been crossing that border for decades before you were permitted to carry in your own state, it's an easy mistake to make.

I guess at this point I'm hoping.

Well, you could have just stopped concealing it and been fine. Wisconsin allows everyone to openly carry. Superior is pretty far up there and open to people carrying weapons so long as you don't act like you're doing something wrong.

From what I've seen on discussions regarding reciprocity with Wisconsin, it seems that our CC law is very similar in the licensing aspects to Minnesota so any states that have reciprocity with Minnesota should add Wisconsin to their list. Which means that we should be able to carry in every state you can once the bill goes live and the list gets confirmed.

Good for Wisconsin though we shouldn't even be having a discussion concerning reciprocity of CWP's.

The SC needs to rule concerning article 4 section 1 of the constitution as it relates to states CWP's. If it applies to states driving licenses then it should most certainly apply to states CWP's.
