Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Meaningless talks continue

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011...t-limit-looms/
The position the Dems are taking are meaningless. Tax increases and tax increases. Talk up you guys on the left, why? Historical number going back decades show tax increases don't increase revenue but impact growth. The only thing that will help avoid this complete economic collapse is reduce federal spending.

Talk real numbers on this thread. We face major debt and without serious cuts, we are digging ourselves a bigger and bigger hole. We already know entitlements will consume 100% of our federal budget. You can't confiscate enough wealth to cover what is needed. Time is up now at our choosing or it will be forced on us.

Let's pray they do nothing and refuse to raise the debt ceiling. We won't default. FYI, our debt right now is only about 220 billion a year. We can covoer that with our eyes close. What the treasury wil need to do is decide what programs go unfunded. That will be a good thing for us. So forget this crap they tell you on TV regarding us defaulting on our debt. It's not going to happen. We are going to focus on priorties for once. That means saying no!

Doesn't No mean No?

Why fight it? It's pretty much a lost cause now. The dollar is 100% going to collapse. It just a matter of when. Yes, the dems have put us on a fast track but there is plenty of blame to go around. No politicians are willing to do anything real to stop our down fall. It's all about staying in power. They can raise the limit or not....all it's doing is pushing the inevitable down the road a little more. If it's raised we are screwed...If they don't we are screwed. We are screwed. Period.
