WASHINGTON (AP) - A White House official says Michelle Obama is heading to Africa on an official visit later this month, stopping in South Africa and Botswana where she'll continue her efforts to encourage young people to get involved in their societies.
The first lady also will visit Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa and Gaborone, Botswana during the June 21-26 trip.
The official said Mrs. Obama's visit will highlight the important stake the U.S. has in the success of Africa's many nations, as well as the historic connections between the American people and those who live on the African continent. President Barack Obama's late father was Kenyan.
The official requested anonymity to speak freely before a formal White House announcement of the first lady's trip.

I wonder who’s paying for that?

Don't worry, under 100 mil. She's only going to take 200 of her closest friends and small SS task force totaling 100. Easily done with a 6 transports, and 10 regular airliners. I'm sure she will book Holiday Inn Express when she arrives.

Boy could I comment on that, but I'm sure if said what's on my mind I'd be banned from here life!

I hope she cuts out all the bad food they are eating too. People are too stupid to nourish themselves without her laying out a step by step program. We are blessed to have her control us and take care of us.

Worse than that she announced today that she will be stumping for her husband on June 30 in Vermont...my home state. My bet is I will be fishing that day.
