You are smack dead center in the x-ring with this one. I went to a high school commencement in Massachusetts....small town....the Valedictorian lambasted Bush (this was 'b.t.' .... before turd) and conservatism in general. IF this kind of crap starts in high school, university is just a validation of their twisted education. It's difficult to stem the tide of mental diarrhea coming from the left, when they get to exercise carte-blanch in indoctrinating our kids, using the educational system as their own private mandated venue.
The children are not allowed to pray; they want to make sure no one pushes religion on children. They have no problem indoctrinating them into the wacky world of Liberalism. They should be arrested for poisoning the minds of children.
Look at what we got from the left and how it is on display today. We have BHO surrounded by everyone who never held a real job. Never earned a paycheck by producing anything sustainable but earned a paycheck sucking off others. There is a term for that and I think Rev brought it up recently.
So on display at this middle school is academia circling the wagons around their own. They are protecting their chronies in this administration, making excuses on why BHO and company are failing all the while placing blame on Bush. This isn't leadership, its socialism on steroids.

A middle school shouldn't be mentioning anything political in a yearbook. The Superintendent should lose his job with his bogus statement "it was an oversight." Oversight is precisely what he is supposed to bring to the school district and this makes it clear that he wasn't in this particular area.

The question here, simply put, is "What do we do about this ?".
I know of only 1 way to unseat an entrenched socialist/communist cadre which is
protected by the very system they abuse, in their efforts to 'reach the hearts and
minds' of American youth. Barring that, I would say we could use a 'modern day' Joe McCarthy to once again restore the 'sting' associated with being labelled UN-AMERICAN.
And the consequences associated with it.....
(by the way....this is somewhat interesting and I hope some of the more learned members could shed light on this factoid:
"McCarthyism" is the generic term for the singling out and demonization of un-american citizens. Yet:
1: Joe McCarthy was a republican...and he had repeatedly demanded the hearings be conducted in secret but the
democrats compelled public hearings.
2: Joseph McCarthy was a U.S. Senator
3: the majority of public hearings where private citizens were pilloried and punished were held by the
"House Committee on Un-American Activities"
4: How does a U.S.Senator sit on a HOUSE committee for a series of hearings labelled 'McCarthyism'.
What a surprise. The most intelligent kid in the school was smart enough to recognize that Bush was a total and complete failure as a president. I imagine all the kids that rode on the short bus were huge fans of Bush.
I disagree...actually, I see it like the biggest sphincter in the school was selected to give the parting shot from the scumbags indoctrinating the local kids. But then again, only another roaring sphincter would support a partisan political speech at a high school commencement ceremony.
I was going to counter your argument with an example of a valedictorian praising Bush in their speech but then I remembered that the chances of an intelligent person endorsing Bush were about equivalent to my chances of winning the lottery.
