Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

DeMint to Run for President in 2012? Maybe

I’m glad that we are getting all these options; we sure don’t need a front runner this early in the season. The less time the Democraps have to destroy a GOP candidate the better off we are. It didn’t take long before the Liberal Media and the Democraps tainted Sarah Palin.

(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Jim DeMint, a conservative Republican from South Carolina, told The Hill newspaper he's considering calls for him to enter the 2012 presidential race.
“It’s humbling, and out of respect, my wife and I have talked about it,” the newspaper quoted DeMint as saying. “Out of respect for the people who have asked us to think about this, that’s what we’re going to do. I don’t want to imply that I’m changing in mind, but I want to consider what all these folks are doing.”
DeMint, a proponent of balanced budgets, recently described Democrats as "the party of big government, big spending, big debt and bankrupting the American economy.”
Last month, DeMint accepted the "2010 Taxpayers' Friend Award" from the National Taxpayers Union.

I've never heard of him but on his record it looks like he would have a chance. Very conservative and a proponent of balanced budget and smaller government.
