Calif. School tells elementary students there are more than 2 gender ‘options'
Holy **** California is one screwed up place to live in. I gotta wonder when someone is going to place that one straw on the camels back that breaks it and the **** really does hit the fan. I can't imagine it is going to be pretty.
This week, educators at Redwood Heights Elementary School in Oakland, California, are teaching young children all about the complicated world of “gender diversity.” The school has designed curriculum for every grade level. Amid the resulting controversy, Principal Sara Stone is defending the initiative, claiming that it is in line with what parents want:

So, genetically, what would these other genders be? Xy is male, XX is female, what would these others be? Yea, there are super bar bodies ect, but they are still female.

I'm a biology major and the idea that there are more than two genders is really news to me. I would like to know more about this. Even in my personal experience, I've never encountered more than two although some people do seem confused about the proper behavior for people of one gender or the other.
There are some curious variants in reproductive activities among some lower critters, but only humans seem confused about it. This male/female reproductive scheme is what makes evolution work. I know it's possible for boys to do it boys and girls to do it with girls. And, of course, it's possible to do it by yourself, but those are personal choices. And while those activities are possible for us, they're biologically inappropriate and not part of the normal reproductive process. They're merely recreational activities.

I know that there are some hermaphrodite species, but am not sure if the phenomena occurs in humans. If it does wouldn't they be XYXX's?

I'm of the opinion that there are human hermaphrodites...having the hydraulics of both sexes....but my understanding is their DNA tests out as either male or female, not both.
Kalifornia is a liberal kraphole and like IPSC, I await their 'rapture'...it'll be the one time we get something from Kalifornia (besides Ronald Reagan) that was of any value.
