Some of us defend SSI for those truly deserving it. This person does not deserve it.

i watched a talk show several years ago. All 11 members of an Arkansas family were drawing SSI. The nine kids ranged in age from about 6-18 years old: Everyone of them was supposedly "developmentally disabled"; that's northeastern PC talk for inbred moron.

That's very true. But it all started in the area around Waynesville, NC west to the Murphy area, then southeast to the Dahlonega, GA area and then north east along highway 441. That's why the movie Deliverance was filmed there.
If he's creative enough to make furniture to fit his lifestyle, and run a support group...well, that sounds like a business opportunity to support his habits.
