I follow the news, but it seems to me that Fox news is not really conservative. It's just that CNN, NBC, etc., have such a liberal slant, that any news report different from theirs seems conservative. It seems to me that Fox news just reports what happens.

No and yes.

Fox' news talk/opinion shows are definitely conservative (Hannity and O'Reilly). I agree about the hard news as reported by Shepard Smith. To me that seems pretty much centrist. But when compared to something way left, then yes, "the center" would look pretty extreme right.

Thats about right Robert. Just remember why that Fairness Doctrine was being pushed and by who. There was a reason for this action, and it wasn't because of bad reporting on Foxs end.
