Showing a casket and a dead body are two different things.

I don't think keeping the body, and having an autopsy performed as is customary here would have done any more harm.

Those that hate us now, hated us beforehand, and will hate us later.

I'm not saying parade the dead body around, I'm not willing to give a known murderer any un-due respect like Obama seems to have thought was necessary.

Treating him like any other criminal, or homicide victim, would not have been disrespectful in any manner. It's the way we deal with death at times in this nation.

Besides that, we have shown the carnage of war on the major news networks via photos at times since September 11th, so why not show the photos of the dead man who orchestrated the attack?
