Ok, it's arrived. They day of reckoning quickly lands on our door step. The government is broke. No more let's just raise taxes. It's time to drastically cut spending by, 1.6 trillion dollars and cap government at 18%. It will be a cake walk if we were to do it now but wait another few years and forget about it.

It won't happen. The democrats are determined to get a majority of the voters dependent upon some sort of government largess and therefore permanent democrat voters.

Approximately 47% of voters do not pay any taxes at all. Only another 3% to go and they will have their majority.
They could start by simplifying the tax code to a fair tax system making everyone pay their fair share..... regardless of income level.

The President has stocked his administration full of lunatics who WANT to destroy the United States or who are otherwise, INSANE. Everyone knows about his relationship with the good Rev. ("G..D... America") Wright, with Bill ("we didn't blow up enough stuff") Ayers, Van ("Republicans are a--holes") Jones, Cass ("ban hunting" and "let the animals file lawsuits") Sunstein, John ("we must de-develop the U.S. economic system" and "redistribute wealth to the rest of the world") Holdren, Michelle ("for the first time in my life, I'm proud of America") Obama... the list of loons goes on and on and on and on....
The halfway rational ones get the boot... i.e. Christina Romer, the Chairman of Obama's Council of Economic Advisors, who said that allowing the Bush tax cuts to lapse will be "highly contractionary." What happened to her? No longer with the administration...
I fully consider EVERY person who supports the policies of this President to be (a) stupid, (b) willfully ignorant, (c) content to live off of earnings confiscated from others, or (d) a traitor.

That is so far from the truth. The list of tax's people pay is endless and the 47% pay many of them as well as being the consumer who keeps the economy going and who pay for the costs of businesses doing business.
Most of the people who smoke are in that 47%. They drive their licensed and tagged cars to the gas station to buy them and gas to return home over the roads they are taxed for to their dwellings they pay tax on to watch their tv' they pay tax on while talking on the phones they pay tax upon tax on with energy they pay tax on while keeping warm with fuel they pay tax on................................................ .................................................. .....................

Not to mention, EVERYONE pays income tax, just 47% of Americans get their taxes back at the end of the year; still a nice interest free loan for the federal government.
