Yeah he did.. He is pro corporate and is facing a lot challenges I might add to what he is doing. Some of these murals the original artists has come after once the removal plans were anounced. Let the battles go on.. This from union and non union a like that is taking our governor on..
Actually these are not just pro-union as you have stated here. They are pro worker however. It is made up of both union and non-union workers. It is about labor and labor only..

And the problem being pro corporation? Sounds like to me you have a smart governor up there. Weren't you just complaining about jobs in the state of Maine not too mamy months ago? Wouldn't it be great if corporations decided to relocate or new start ups to begin shop there? Wouldn't that mean jobs for your neighbors? Or maybe you feel if it's not a union job, why bother getting out of bed in the morning.

Maybe the governor is smart enough to know that jobs accompany corporations. Phil don't seem to want a company to come to Maine unless that company agrees to let a Union bring it to it's knees.

First of all you guys need to get a life.. For one I am against the govenor big time in the way he is doing things. I am not alone with that one. How ever if he can brings jobs to Maine that will pay more than $10.00 per hour I am all for it. The thing is he can't and he dam well knows it. He has done a lot using a republican think tank that will surely hurt him. That think tank draws dollars from big corporations to benefit only them selves and not the people of Maine. Just like Wisconsin we are heading down the same path. He wants to take from the middle class and give to corporations. Just like a mill that is being sold here. The buyer wants it for $1.00 and make the town pay for the rest of it.. They say they can keep people working as long as more tax breaks come their way. It is the same old song and dance all over the place. We have seen enough republican B.S. and just as soon see no more. But I am afraid it is just begining.

I know you would rather live on welfare and on the backs of others, however, there are people who would take that money.

What do you think they are doing right now at $10.00 per hour.. I guess you really do not have any idea on what is going on out there.. Some get foodstamps/card as well as help with oil bills ect.. and that is all from making $10.00 per hour so I know you think it would be a great thing.. Wake Up will you. You have been on here complaining about people using these programs and now you are encouraging it, so that you might be able to get a big return on your investments.. Which is it!
I also noticed you skipped the part of a corporation trying to buy a mill for the sum of $1.00. Then making the surrounding towns pay for the rest of the millions that they want for it. As well as tax breaks and all that from those towns as well as the state. Where are you on this type of deal.. I am betting you think it may be a great deal. I think not! It will keep people working at a very big exspence though..

what do you mean, which is it? End the welfare programs now. We have no poverty here in America. It's a trumped up lie to steal more money from folks and transfer power to DC. You vote for the crap and then complain they actually exercise that power by doling out money to keep them in office.

no I didn't skip that part. Allow them to pay a dollar for it. Who care. It's worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it. As far as tax breaks. I'm for giving all corporations tax breaks. I would reduce their bill down to zero on profits at the federal level. However, if states wish to Levy a tax, I don't care. Corporations can always walk next door to another state.

FYI. Phil, the magazine NewsWeek sold for only a buck. It was a leftist rag that schools forced students to buy when I was in school. The funny thing is the the Huffington Post sold for 300 million while she used leftist reports to blog for free. Too funny. They do the work and the big lefty pockets the cash.

I know it would be to hard for you to understand any ways..

You appear to dodge the part that they want the surrounding towns to pay for the rest of it for them.. So allow them to buy it for a dollar and then let the towns pay the rest of the bill? That sounds just like a really big handout for the towns. We are talking millions of dollars being paid out so a company can buy the mill for a dollar.. Actually it is to big mills that they want the towns to bail out after paying a dollar for them.. Deal or no deal?
These mills were known as Great Northern before a hostile take over robbed them. They have changed hands a couple of times after that fiascal. One company bought them to steal the hydro out from under them and sell the mills. Now as stated above another company wants to buy them with the surrounding towns money and a dollar they want to control them as their mills.
