Yep, Obama is an idiot but he cannot cut oil imports, He needs congressional approval for that.

Really, how so? Oil is a product not bought by the US Government and then sold to private companies where it is distributed throughout the USA. You know, like state/county run ABC stores? On the other hand, he could stop defying the court order his administration was found in contempt on and allow drilling. He could also back off blocking the rest of the drilling his administration is doing and become friendly to the the energy sector. Both require no actions by congress.

Yeah, the POS announces that he's gonna cut imports by a third over the next decade right after he gave 2 billion dollars of our hard earned money to Brazil so that they can explore their offshore drilling.
