Congressional Tea Party Caucus Chairman Michele Bachmann: Revisionist or Stupid? Both
Congressional Tea Party Caucus Chairman Michele Bachmann: New Hampshire speech, Sat. March 12th, 2011:
Quote:
REP. MICHELE BACHMANN: What I love about New Hampshire and what we have in common is our extreme love for liberty … You’re the state where the shot was heard around the world in Lexington and Concord. And you put a marker in the ground and paid with the blood of your ancestors the very first price that had to be paid to make this the most magnificent nation that has ever arisen in the annals of man in 5,000 years of recorded history.
It was Massachusetts. Disgraceful, but no surprise coming from her and her party supporters.
GAWD, either she and her cohort speech writers/teleprompter operators are that damn dumb or they don't even know what state they're in.
ROTFLMAO

You have the nerve to call bachmann on the carpet when you'r hero Bagger Vance is out on the links while the world burns. It's hemorrhoids like you who put this country in the position we are in....
She made a mistake. And, like your fellow assclowns from the left side of the aisle did when Obama said there were 57 states, or when he talked about the "Marine Corpse" and "Corpsemen," my response is so what? There are far more important issues to address.
An entire paragraph and speech geared around mis-information is not in the same league as a mispronunciation or single word (57 cities) misplaced.
It was 57 "states," not "cities." See how easy it is... Perhaps he was referring to the 57 states in the Organization of Islamic States...

It's a larger issue of deliberate historical ignorance of the state and people one is addressing - whole speech vs. one word, not even close.
"Deliberate"? Really? I'd bet if you asked 1000 Obama voters "Concord NH or Concord MA" 996 would respond "Isn't that the kind of grape they make MD20/20 with?"
