Muslim Hearings

The buildup has been tremendous in the 'drive by' press and media...and there's a line of schmucks waiting to step into the camera's light a proclaim Peter King a 21st century McCarthy.

Seems to me, the stated purpose of the hearings (if I'm right) is to explore the radicalization of American muslims.

He's not pillorying them or denigrating American muslims...only exploring why they'd pick up a gun and shoot their countrymen in the name of Allah...or why they'd strap on a bomb vest and go to the mall or any of a number of mass-murder methodologies.

Why is the left scum allowed to mutate the meaning of these hearings ?

i don't have a problem with investigating all the terrorist organizations; let the chips fall where they will. Peter King forgot to tell us that he supports the terrorist Republican Army. The perp is also a dedicated anti-gunner.

What you are proposing, like the left media is proposing, is beyond the scope of the hearings. Certainly, if the dems want to have hearings on all terrorist organizations, they are free to do so. Peter King is having an investigation regarding how 'normal' muslims (if there is such a thing) get to be radicalized into the jihad mindset.

This is not an attack against all Muslims. Just as the prosecutions of people who commit crimes against abortion clinics & doctors based on Christianity, is not an attack on all Christians.

I recommend a book titled While Europe Slept for background on the development of the problems many countries in Western Europe are seeing in their muslim communities.

The issue boils down to a question. How tolerant are we willing to be of intolerance, segregation, and racism that is rife in muslim communities?

So if he's a 'sympathizer' then why would you be stupid enough to expect he'd investigate the IRA ? Not that they've been plotting mass-murder in the USA over these past few years....

you are spot on. I consider all other obfuscation of the subject to be immaterial and a purposeful attempt to defend muslim terrorism in this country.
