Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Leaders earned between $173,000 and $618,000 at major unions, the Center for Public Integrity found in examining 2009 tax records, with some groups paying dozens of employees in the six figures. At the three major unions , which together represent more than 5.6 million public workers, presidents’ salaries in 2009 ranged between $400,000 and $500,000.

I wonder what the Liberlturds and Union Jerks think about these rich people, they are always harping consevatives that are making money. We know what they will say, NOTHING!

That's not going on in his union. Besides, it'd way less than those fat cats on Wall Street.

As a rule I am discontinuing posting here as to keep myself from getting the boot. I know you have read my most recent post in the Political Forum. I will say first hand that our union does not compare with what you are saying. I do know though that our top leaders make a great amount of dollars. Also we have a quite a few officers on the top end that is there to help in other programs like safety and ect.. That make more than myself as well. I am a union president and I only bring in $2,400.00 a year which is a far cry from what you are trying to state. My main income is my job which I work with out any private office. We preffer no private office here so we can be working side by side on the shop floor. I also know corporate CEOs make a heck of a lot more than any top union boss. So why are you crying about what they make? Here check this partial list out.

JPMorgan Chase & Co.
James Dimon
2009 Total Compensation: $15,518,794
Wells Fargo
John Stumpf
2009 Total Compensation: $21,340,547
Cigna Healthcare
H. Edward Hanway
2008 Total Compensation: $12,236,740

2009 Total Compensation: $16,550,745
Exxon Mobil Corp
R.W. Tillerson
2009 Total Compensation: $27,168,317

What exactly do CEOs have to do with this? They actually produce something unlike union fat cats. Besides, the total compensation usually involve stock options that first must mature and then cashed. No guarantee there will be any money from them.

If you are still trying to lay that on me, it's still bunk. I don't know of anyone that's threatened to "boot" you for posting here--I know I haven't. I just pointed out your blatent hypocricy as a hunter. Not posting here won't change that.

Why would there be outrage? It seems a far more productive response would be:

1. Holy moly I love in a country where people can make that kind of money!!
2. What did they do to make that kind of money and how can I start doing the same thing?

You are right no one threatened to give me the boot. I do feel that ( perhaps I am wrong ) message rule 4 and 6 is a fine line that I am not going to get dragged into crossing.. I enjoy my out door activities as well as anyone. I have offered some advise to more than one moose hunter that drew permits up this way. For the most part they have been successfull and have thanked me for the help.

The union fat cats as you preffer to call them actually do try and help protect jobs to stay in America. We need jobs here and not abroad. While the CEOs make decisions on where and when to move jobs abroad. They also have raped the companies of their profits with such large sums of pay. The have run companies into the ground and then sell them off. They have also encouraged the small factories to seek tax breaks from towns and states. Only to rub dirt into their faces when they shut them down. I have no use seeing how they should be paid so much while distroying this country as we know it.
