Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

This is the most transparent administration in history.

I see your point Burnie, and agree whole-heartedly.

Isn't this the same type of corruption, palm-greasing we saw with Halliburton?

No-bid contracts not reviewed by congress, voted simply up or down?

With provisions preventing Halliburton and subs from being prosecuted should they be found to be "over charging" the gov. for services rendered?

No, it isn't OK now because it happened then, but Halliburton is still doing business with the federal gov. Where was the outrage then and now?

Do you honestly think the oil industry has cleaner hands when it comes to this?

I say up with both or down with both. Without parity, there is no legitimate discussion.

Good luck, I've been waiting for three years, I think by the time I get my bow, I'll be using it for a walking cane.

He's come up with the excuse " I have honeydo's"

Sorry. I just cant get in the mood with my new, smaller shop. lol. I actually am putting the finishing touches on next years hunting bow. I have two staves picked out for you and Rowell. Once I finish the tips on this new bow, ill be done and will start carving out your bow. Besides, I owe you big. That knife you made me has become my all time favorite. And you know that is saying something, being that I have refused to use any knife other than my special one.

Emptyq
I am just now getting my bow materials in order. I really need to spend some time in the shop.

Exactly. I had hoped that Obama might have been honest about his campaign promise to go through budgets line by line and to fix these issues. It was an outside hope.

FYI, it's very misleading to call them no bid contracts. The government agrees ahead of time for services and costs. This is done for quick action when jobs need a quick turn around. hiliburton was already under contract for pre negotiated price to provide services. They are also the only company able to provide those services on this scale. We should do more like Walmart taking over FEMA staging of goods and services during disasters. It what the do best is shipping goods for less cost and managing it.
