Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing is reviewing complaints that doctors wrote fake sick notes to people missing work while protesting Governor Scott Walker's proposed budget. The department oversees the state's Medical Examining Board.
Dave Ross, the department's secretary says "over the weekend the agency received numerous contacts concerning physicians involved in writing medical excuses for those attending rallies at the State Capitol."

Well, if they did write out sick slips at the rally, and not at their place of business...

I can't argue with the Physician's being sanctioned by the state medical board. It sounds like there would be no criminality in having done that, but it would be a workplace ethics violation. Which means they could face fines, or loss of license, but no jail time.

Well I guess you haven't seen the undercover camera clips of doctors (supposed) not only handing them out like candy but basing the number of days on the projected protest time. Either way, if they were doctors, let's fine the crap out of them. If they weren't doctors, let's fine the crap out of the AWOL teachers.

Seems to me, 'loss of license' is sufficient....I'd think they'd opt for jail time rather than lose their license to practice medicine. So yes, yank their licenses...they like the teachers so much, they can become teachers.

The teachers who present these fraudulent notes should be fired. Period.
