I find this particularly scary. We don't have enough needy people and do-gooder causes to spend money on in the US, we need to further siphon off more money that we don't have to the UN? You can't be serious!!!! Yet another point, other nations seem to be quite content to cede sovereignty to the UN. Wouldn't this be inexorably involved in a move to align ourselves more tightly with and rely more upon the UN? Please remind me, what is the UN concensus on private ownership of firearms?
I hope this is strongly resisted. The UN is totally a joke. Please point out 5 positive accomplishments that the UN has completed? If the UN were a job applicant and advanced their resume as proof of their compentence to perform the job, the would not be invited for a face-to-face interview.
