Well, it certainly is more aggresive then Barrys 400B\5yr flyover. I expected Pauls figure to of been a bit more then what he has ploted in his draft proposal. I would expect too, alot of push back on most of these targeted areas. There are a couple in there that I feel could be leaned on a bit more, but thats me. Its going to be a hot summer.
The silence is deafening. He cuts man programs folks on here have railed about, I guess folks aren't really tuning in. Hoever, despite serious cuts on the discretionary spending, we can't balance the budget with serious cuts in SS and Medicare. Those government programs have to go bye bye.
If you don't think so, tell me what else you will cut in order to make up for the onslaught of baby boomers. Even if you freeze ghe budgets, you can't get there from here.

I haven't read the entire proposal yet, but I like the fact that he is prepared to say "Do your job with less, like the citizens have too." Yeah, it will cost some public sector jobs. That sucks. But if we don't do something now, we'll lose a lot more than that in the future.
Old Rand already hired a big time lobbyist as his chief of staff.
So what exactly does that have to do with the price of beans in Mexico City?
