Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Hopefully the key doesn't open the doors to the City Dog Pound...

Actually I am a vick fan. Guy made a mistake.

Not too many people could lose almost everything, goto the pen for 18months and come out swinging, playing ball as good as he did.

The man is gifted. And besides, I am sick and tired of worried what people do in thier off time.

I watch the guy to play football, and thats it. I could care less who he marries, how many cars he has, on and on. thats his business. But entertaining me on Sunday, is my business.

I gotta disagree w/ you BC, the guy was under surveillance for a period of several years, when he was torturing and killing helpless dogs in the crulest ways imaginable, including electrocution, beating, and slamming the dogs head on the ground by its back legs. All because they didnt perform to his expectations. I dont know about you, but thats pretty sick stuff IMO. I wouldnt do that stuff to a sewer rat. If he did it once or twice, I could see it being a mistake, but regularly, over the course of years Id call that a sick lifestyle, not a mistake.

(ok maybe Id do it to a rat, but not pet that trusted me)

OJ was gifted too. yeah i know killing dogs isnt the same as killing your ex wife, but the guys still a sicko, yeah he served his time ,cool, but I dont think he deserves keys to a city, or praise from the POTUS, like hes been getting.

I dunno maybe Im just not impressed w/ FB players, but to me theres some people that just shouldnt be admired no matter how good they play.

Why does that not surprise me.
A mistake huh? That's what you call it? Pretty sick and twisted "mistake" he made.

He didn't come close to loosing almost everything. If he had he wouldn't be back in the NFL and he sure as hell wouldn't have been given the key to the city of Philly

The man is gifted. And besides, I am sick and tired of worried what people do in thier off time.
Really? Cause in reading posts of yours you seem to care a whole bunch about what people do in their spare time. But what MV did you decide your tired of caring?
What if he liked to set neighborhood pets on fire and make kids watch them burn in his spare time?
What if he was trafficking young children to prostitution rings in his spare time?
What if he molested young children in his spare time?
When do you begin to worry?

Yeah sure.... so long as you're entertained on Sunday. Who cares what he is killing or torturing in his spare time. He sure can play football.
You make me puke.

Michael Vic is a piece of ****. Dogs are extremely loyal to their owners (people should be half as loyal to their friends and family) and they rely 100% on their owners for food, water, health, etc... What MV did to those dogs is unconscionable and IMO 18 months was a slap on the wrist. He should have been sitting in jail for 10 years and forfeited all ties to the NFL.

Here in the Dallas area it was the subject of all the radio talk shows yesterday, I was really surprised of how many people we defending him (black and white). I could care less what Dallas does, to me Dallas politics isn’t not too far from Chicago politics!

Vick was caught on a warrant to search for drug-related offenses at his home, none (drugs etc. ) were found and the dog charge was reached for to get something to save face for the police. Dogs are NOT what they went looking for, nor was the "well being" (PETA) of animals the authorities primary objective when they got the warrant - dogs weren't even on the radar when they went in....... until the realized they had egg on their face with the drug suspicions.

An after thought at best.

Unless you're a PETA supporter, the M.Vick-dog story is of small concern.

Curious bigbulls, so you feel you are more righteous than vic. You really feel you are so much better? What do you do for this world that is so great? What do you contribute beside sitting behind a counter, asking, "can I help the next person"?
