Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Have McCain & Graham Flip-Flopped on Illegals

Looks like John McCain and Lindsay Graham have reneged on their promise to come down hard on immigration reform. McCain does not surprise me he has long been a hypocrit on several conservative issues. McCain brought you the Kennedy-McCain amnesty for illegal aliens bill that went down in flames in the US senate. There are probably not enough good Republicans in the senate to shoot this one down. Good news is that it will never pass the house.

Yep, Graham has been apparently teamed up with Chuckie Schumer.

Quote:
Graham told Politico's Carrie Budoff Brown he is again in talks with New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, though he said their plans are in the "infant stage." McCain said yesterday on CNN he would consider immigration reform once the border is secure. (A deadline that translates, in all likelihood, to Congress first passing the "10-point" border security bill that he and his home-state GOP senate colleague John Kyl have put forward to send 3,000 troops to the border). Republican Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, said in an interview that McCain, once a champion of reform, told him "that there's a shot at this.

Graham becomes more and more of a RINO with each passing day. I don't know that you'd call McCain's position a flip flop. He's still saying "secure the border and then address immigration reform." I think that has been his position for a while. Maybe I missed something from him...

Mccain is not a hypocrit
he was always for ILLEGAL immigration,
he didnt flip flop on it,
he even had a mexican national touting dual citizenship as one of his campaign managers

I don't think McCain has flipped. Immigration reform has never been his strong suit.

I was glad to hear our governor today (Rick Perry) speak at the state of the State address, say that he was going to propose a fine on employers that hire illegals. (To me politically correct, undocumented workers) Am I wrong , don't we already have that law?
