Bill Tracker

Senate File 47
* What the bill would do: Allow Wyoming residents to carry concealed guns without state permits.
* The latest: The Senate voted 20-10 in favor of the bill Monday.
* What's next: It moves to the House for debate.

CHEYENNE -- Wyoming residents would be able to carry concealed guns without a permit under a bill that cleared the state Senate on Monday.
The Wyoming Senate voted 20-10 in favor of the bill, sponsored by Sen. Kit Jennings, R-Casper.

If the bill ultimately becomes law, Wyoming would join Alaska, Arizona and Vermont as states that don't require citizens to have permits to carry concealed weapons.

Supporters of the Wyoming bill note that the state and federal constitutions guarantee the people's right to carry guns. They also say criminals are already carrying concealed weapons illegally.

nice state, Wyoming....very sensible. WIsh it were like that here....maybe if we told the libs that if we did not need licensing for CC, all those guys carrying illegally in Newark and Camden and Trenton and Irvington would no longer be criminals and could vote Democrat.
Hehehehe

I wish Texas would adopt that law. We can carry with a cc permit, and have the castle act that permits you to carry one in your car while traveling.

Hell...here in 'The People's Republic', armed or not, I am required to retreat behind a locked bedroom door and warn a mutant of my status...only if he persists and enters this 'inner sanctum' am I allowed to defend myself, my family and my property (ostensibly, in that order).

Hell, Bergall; without the duty to retreat there is a likelihood that you would kill a Democrat voter before he rifled your home.

Good luck with that Wisconsin! As was mentioned, we passed that law in Arizona not too long ago.

Now that we here in WI, finally have a Rep. Gov. and Legislature. We might stand a chance of being able to defend ourselves and our families from the criminals who already have guns.

Not here in 'The People's Republic'...we are ruled by libs who are beholden to unions and the 'parasite class' currently resident in Trenton, Camden, Newark, Jersey City and Irvington. Dems rule the
roost so civil rights are up for review....
