Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Bush is blamed for two wars because of bad intel

Yet bad intel is the excuse for Obama screwing up?

I didn't blame Bush for acting on bad intel. I always blamed him for doing nothing to punish those who provided him bad intel (like FIRING the incompetent baboons). I will not blame Obama for not getting good intel. I WILL blame him for not punishing those who did not do their job. I would love to see a massive blood-letting in the intelligence agencies. They are doing an absolutely atocious job. They merrily hop from massive ****-up to the next.

Hockeydad

As you can tell, my threads have been rather sarcastic today. Most all are simply pointing out the lunatic hypocrisy displayed over the years.

Bingo, Hockeydad.
The so called US "intelligence agencies" are a sick joke. They have blundered time after time since the early 1950s. It is high time that half of those agencies are eliminated.

There is no accountability in DC. It is unfashionable for presidents to fire incompetent appointees who mess up. Instead Presidents come to the defense of their hacks. That kind of stuff happens when unqualified political hacks are put in charge of federal agencies. Leon Panetta in charge of the CIA, what a joke.

None of the so called "intelligence" agencies have anyone on the ground, especially in the middle east. Anyone who ever spent a few years in the middle east and/or North Africa working with Arabs had to know that the insurrection that started in Tunisia was going to spread. When an Arab, or anyone else for that matter, burns himself to death in order to make a political statement it's a big deal; about ten Arabs have done just that.

This thing is contagious like the fall of eastern Europe. Yep, the "intelligence" agencies failed to predict that one too.

To do so, he'd only needed to have climbed into his time machine, gone back to about December 16, 1998, and fired the baboons in the Clinton administration who targeted empty hangars and derelict training aircraft in Iraq as "WMD storage bunkers" and "aerial sprayers."

I cleared some of those bunkers and aircraft in the spring of 2003. Not a sign of anything stronger than industrial solvents.

It would be nice if things were as simple as some of you guys seem to think they are.

So, Hilary back then claimed to use her own independent sources to come to the conclusion about WMDs. What's her excuse this time for getting it wrong when she now runs the major department in our government who is already suppose to have the foresight of this kind of things happening?

Hmmm, the main stream media has been so hung up on the right regarding who can lead the party to victory in 2012. Can someone tell me who will lead the left in 2012 to victory?

The death of Quang Duc and other monks who burned themselves to death brought down the gov't of South Viet Nam.

The guy in Tunisia was a student, one Mohamed Bouzaiz. His only income came from an unlicensed food cart. One day a female cop confiscated his food cart, beat him up and spat in his face. That was the final straw for the guy who set himself on fire. He lived for a few days and died. As a result the government of Tunisia was overthrown.

There have been many more deaths by self immolation in Tunisia, Saudi, Algeria, and Egypt. An American burned himself to death in India.
