Default Wake Up Washington State-WildSky Progresses

Wednesday July 23 the US senate energy and natural resources committee unanimously approved the wild sky wilderness area in Snohomish county.This is also expected to pass the full senate leaving the US house of representatives as its only obsticle-THANK GOD it' s a formidable one! This is where it died last year in committee,and with luck-will again! But it doesn' t happen on it' s own! We need help here-write your congressmen(women) and tell them what you think of the American people being locked OUT of thier OWN lands! Wilderness designation is not helping the area of Farewell Creek (appropriate name) right now from burning (60,000 acres).
If these greenies get thier way they will tear out over 30 miles of established roads,culverts,(some up to 10' diameter)bridges and such at YOUR EXPENSE so that then this area Can then burn without acess to fight fires just as the Farewell creek complex is now!
This area needs to be designated Backcountry Recreation . If you don' t know what that means,go to the website of the Blue Ribbon Coalition and they will explain it to you-ACCESS to the public ,as it has always been-but NO commercial logging,or mining-much better for ALL! Now remember BLUE RIBBON COALITION.Check it out
Now I want to see what you hunters(especially Washington)are all about-what your really made of!

The issue of " government owned land" has always irritated the hell out of me.

they do not have the constitutional authority to " own" any land. As a matter of fact, if the fed buys land, YOU have effectivelypurchased the land so should have virtually unlimited access to it.

recieved this message by email today:

Passed unanimously by 39th District GOP,August 5,2003

A Resolution Pertaining to Wild Sky Wilderness Area

Be it resolved, that the 39th Legislative District Republican Committee
opposes the Wild Sky Wilderness Area Act of 2003 and authorizes the 39th
District Director and Executive Board to issue official statements to the
press and publicly engage in activities opposing it.

oppose the greenies with more than just a rag-tag fugitive fleet,this time.

Here is a link for all to get information, and alternate views on this proposal(which the liberal media does not provide you!!)
No Wild Sky
Mind you, I am not against new wilderness areas totally- as long as the are TRUE wilderness areas, as per the US wilderness act of 1964 _ which this area( and the ones in line to be proposed in Washington after this one is railroaded through RE;
I-90, Kettle Range)[:'(] IS NOT!!!
